Happy 2011, everybody! Last time, Guardian met his wife-to-be, and Justice sparred with his wife-who’d-been. This week, the triplets age to teen, and Guardian finally gets his girl.
But first, a reader reminded me that I hadn’t given you the triplets traits and favorites yet, so I’ll combine that with their age-up pictures.
The little girl on fire is Summer, the eldest of the triplets. Summer is a grumpy, eccentric child who is easily impressed. She caught on fire while working on a new invention. I knew adults could catch on fire, but I thought children were fireproof in this game. Apparently not. Way to scare little kids, EAxis. Anyway, Summer’s favorite color is blue, and she likes to eat Falafels while listening to Bach, Beethoven and Chopin.
And here is Summer as a teen:
She gained the Green Thumb trait, so she literally could become a Creature-Robot Cross-breeder. Since her older sister Harmony already has that LTW, Summer will settle for being a Renaissance Sim. If you recall, to be a Renaissance Sim, your Sim has to max three traits. I had always planned that my Renaissance Sim would complete Veil’s Gardener/Angler/Cook Challenge, but after looking at her rules again, I realized that Sim has to have the Perfect Garden LTW. Also, Summer has so much invested in Inventing already, I want her to continue working on mastering that skill. Handiness goes hand-in-hand with Inventing, so I’m sure that will be her second skill. I haven’t decided on the third yet. In terms of looks, she’s the spitting image of Tracey, except with black hair.
(Oh, by the way, Summer put the flames out by taking a shower.)
River is the middle triplet. And just like typical middle children, he gets short shrift. I don’t even have a childhood picture of him for this entry, so we’re jumping straight to his teen picture. River marches to the beat of his own drum, because he is the only one in the Lazlo family who listens to Roots music, eats spaghetti, or wears grey. He is a Loner like his dad Fortune, so we know Tracey didn’t bring home the wrong baby from the hospital. (He also bears a strong resemblance to Fortune). River is also a clumsy, childish artist which should make for some interesting paintings. River’s dream in life is to max both the Painting and Guitar skills.
And that brings us to this little guy. This is Leaf, the youngest of the triplets and the baby of Generation 3 (assuming Faith and Mason don’t have any more kids). He looks very serene playing with the butterflies, doesn’t he? Well, keep your eye on him because when you aren’t looking, he’ll crush those butterflies in the palm of his hand. Leaf plans to be the Emperor of Evil someday. He’s insane like his older brother Fortune, and I am officially blaming Tracey’s side of the family for the insanity. Justice didn’t have a crazy bone in his body. So there.
Not only is Leaf a loon, he’s a perfectionist, perceptive loon. That’s one crazy dude. Luckily, he’s a heavy sleeper so hopefully most of his mastermind plots will stay in his dreams.
Didn't I tell you he was insane? Those eyes say “Psych Ward Patient” to me. I also think with a shorter haircut, he would look a tiny bit like Johnny Depp (circa 21 Jump Street), which only proves that Insane is an appropriate trait. The mummy on his T-shirt is in reference to his love of Egyptian music. While most kids his age nosh on burgers and fries, Leaf would rather dine on a healthy Grilled Salmon, preferably in a room decorated in Irish Green.
But the real story this week is the courtship of Guardian and Leeann, who celebrated her teen birthday along with the triplets.
Not bad. This is the first Sim I’ve liked this custom hairstyle on, but I’m still not wild about it.
Guardian likes and scores his first kiss…
…and his first (and only) girlfriend. But I can’t resist giving Leeann a makeover:
Aw, there’s that cute baby I remember! And she’s wearing her boyfriend’s favorite color, Turquoise.
Well, that’s all for this week. I promise that next time the Lazlos will do more than just grow up. We will actually see our first formal Lazlo wedding!

It's good to see another blog post after a while. Some people grow up so fast: The triplets were born and grew to teen in two posts, and Leeann was toddler when you first seen her, and Guardian was a teenager. Now she is a teenager, as so is Guardian still. I'm determined to make this year a good year, and I hope you have one too. And the Lazlo's, of course!
ReplyDeleteLeeann's eyes are really cool looking!
