Welcome back to the Lazlo Legacy. This week we’re back at the home of the current heir, Guardian Lazlo.
Last time, our future heir, Trust Lazlo, aged up to toddler. Trust is cuddling an adorable panda bear that comes with the “Lunar New Year” store set which was generously gifted to me by seaweedy. I could not think of a more perfect gift for the Lazlos! Thank you, seaweedy! Check out seaweedy’s Notorious Legacy, and if you want a great directory of Sims legacies and stories, check out seaweedy’s Today in the World of Sim Stories.
When I first opened the lot, I found former heir, Fortune, autonomously questioning townie Demarcus Combs. I didn’t realize the Question interaction could be autonomous.
I have always thought of Guardian as a big kid, so it is surreal to see him as a father.
Sunday night is Family night in the Lazlo household, but Fortune also invited over Colin and Lorelei because he’s hoping they will be official family members someday. Fortune and Colin crack me up. I think they have a bromance going on because they are always rolling wishes to interact with each other.
See what I mean? I think their friendship is neat because on paper they don’t look like they would be friends.
Tracey reminds Fortune that she is his significant other. I had to hold my breath for this one. I did not want them to get pregnant.
After all, their son and daughter-in-law are expecting again.
Besides, I have more important things for Tracey to worry about. She is only 10,000 Simoleons away from topping the Writer career. I sent her to the consignment store to sell some books, when I noticed one of the nice cameras was on sale. I had her buy it for my future Photographer Sim. (I’m not sure who that will be yet.)
I’m glad to see that Leeann’s parents are still going strong. Layla is an elder now, but Pierre is still a mature adult.
Pierre didn’t remain at the top of the Evil track for long. I have Twallan’s story progression mod configured so that some jobs are restricted to one sim. I need to find out who the current Emperor of Evil is, though, because that person is Leaf’s competition.
For some reason, we have two maids coming to the house every day now, and they still don’t do a good job of cleaning the place.
YES!!!!! You don’t know how excited I am about this. The Writer career is not the most exciting one, so I am glad it is over. Thank you, Tracey!
Tracey’s final novel is a Masterpiece and a Best-Seller! Well done, Tracey, you have definitely earned your retirement. Tracey will now enjoy freedom from my micromanagement.
My Gen 2 heirs have served me well. He wasn’t my first choice of heir, and she wasn’t my first choice of heir spouse, but together they have proven they were the right choice.
It’s time to look to the future, and our Gen 4 heir is about to become a child.
Happy birthday, Trust!
Trust adds Light Sleeper to Brave and Absent-Minded. I think he favors Tracey a bit, but he has his mommy’s cheeks.
It looks like Trust will be sharing his birthday with a new sibling.
Make that two new siblings.
Welcome, twin sisters, Promise and Peace Lazlo. I have forgotten which is which, so we’ll wait until their toddler pics to formally introduce them.
By the way, Trust also got an imaginary friend, Kaysar.
Trust joined the Scouts. I would like to see my Lazlo children and teens max all of the After School activities. I’m not sure if rotating lots is going to throw a wrench into those plans.
Just in case, I lengthened the Child lifespan from 7 days to 14 days.
With a short baby stage, the girls aged up quickly. Promise rolled the Grumpy and Artistic traits. She is soothed by listening to Hip Hop Music, eating Shawarma, and wearing purple. With the Artistic trait, she could possibly be a Descendant of da Vinci or a Visionary. We’ll have to see. It may be hard to tell here, but Promise has dad and grandma’s red hair.
Peace Lazlo is Perceptive about the fact that she Hates the Outdoors. True to her heritage, she likes Chinese music and Dim Sum. She also likes the color Spiceberry. I must say, Guardian and Leeann sure make some pretty babies. I think Peace has Great Grandmother Adaeze’s eyes.
And speaking of pretty babies, I have found the future mother of Trust’s pretty babies. This is Annmarie Offablock. Guardian was invited to a party at her house and brought Leeann along.
This is Annmarie’s little brother, Waylon Offablock. I thought that name was funny. I also see that Waylon has turquoise eyes! They must have come from a phantom grandparent because neither of his parents have turquoise eyes. Unfortunately, Waylon is no longer with us. When I opened the hood one day, all my babies and toddlers were invisible! I reset Promise and Peace and they became visible again, but it didn’t work for some of the other toddlers. I was able to save Barry’s half-brother, Samson Chesterman, but I lost his other little half-brother, Lance Fleming. I was also able to save Alan’s niece, Ruby Murphy. Sadly, all the other toddlers and babies are gone.
Fortune and Tracey spent their last night as adults baby-sitting their grandkids and watching television. Fortune, Tracey, and Leeann are all Couch Potatoes, so if I leave them alone, I inevitably find the three of the camped out together in front of the TV. I guess that is why they all get along so well.
The next morning,, Fortune reminds Leeann that today is his and Tracey’s birthday. I don’t know if I’m ready for them to become elders. Like I mentioned in Faith’s last post, Generation 2 has been around for nearly two years real-time.
But every Sim has to meet the Reaper sooner or later, so it is time to move on. We threw a party so that Fortune and Tracey could celebrate in style.
Not bad, Fortune.
Tracey is up next. I just noticed Trust in the corner there. So cute!
Tracey didn’t turn out so bad either. I’m laughing at Leaf in the background there. He is definitely his father’s son. Fortune makes that face all the time.
I tried to age Chance up too, since he and Fortune are twins, but when I clicked on the birthday cake, he didn’t show up in the list. Did EA change something? I know you used to be able to throw birthday parties for visitors. Oh, well, I’ll have to wait until I get back to his house in the rotation for him to age up. I’m really not looking forward to him becoming an elder because he’s my eye candy. Oh, well, I still have hubby’s Simself wandering around town.
Trust offered to turn Kaysar real. I wanted to earn the points for having an imaginary friend and for having an imaginary friend turned real legitimately, so Fortune (who maxed the Logic skill and learned all the potions without cheats) made this potion. I won’t count the points until Trust achieves his lifetime wish, though.
Here’s Kaysar. He has green hair. His traits are Hates the Outdoors, Unlucky, and Angler. Hmm.. Michael is an Angler too. Interesting. I don’t know if I ever officially said what my naming theme for the Imaginary friends is. They are named after reality television stars because I think those people are “imaginary” celebrities. Kaysar is named after a contestant from Season 6 of Big Brother (America). Most of the Russell imaginary friends were named after people from The Jersey Shore, though Janelle also came from BB6. (That was one of my favorite seasons).
In my opinion, Guardian’s family is complete. He, however, rolled a wish to have another baby. *headdesk* Up next, back to Harmony’s lot. I really hope she picks a man this time!
