Welcome back to the Lazlo Legacy. This week, we are visiting Faith’s lot which is now short one child. Last week, Faith’s eldest, Grace, moved in with her boyfriend Sean’s family and got engaged.

Upon entering the house, the first thing I see is Charity talking to TheSituation! I was thrilled because I thought he had been deleted from the game. It looks like my plan to have Charity marry her Imaginary Friend is back on!

The Lazlo Legacy—Chance 2.3

Hello, and welcome back to the Lazlo Legacy. This week, we’re visiting Chance’s lot. Last time we visited, Nichol finally defeated Chance at sparring, and Serendipity aged up to child.

On Monday, Serendipity invited over a friend after school. If you recall, Chance and Nichol ran into a Story Progression-generated townie at the Chinese Garden who looked liked he had Justice as a genetic parent. That townie’s name is Omari Dunham, and this is his son, Jeff. Yeah, that’s right, Jeff Dunham.

The Lazlo Legacy—Chance 2.2

It’s time for another visit with Chance’s family. Serendipity has a sour expression because she realizes that neither Chance nor I are really into working on her toddler skills. Chance’s excuse is that he dislikes children. I have always preferred playing the larger households because there is always something to do or someone causing drama. Chance’s family is small and they are mainly focused on skill building, so this week moved slowly.

The Lazlo Legacy--Chance 2.1

This dingy townhouse is Chance and Nichol’s new home. They had a nice home down the street from Fortune and Faith, but the lot was glitched. After visitors excused themselves, they couldn’t leave the lot. Remember the old bug from TS1 where if a house had a fence surrounding it and a visitor excused himself and went out the back door of the house, he could not figure out how to route his way to the front?  Well, the visitors to Chance and Nichol’s house were behaving like that. Seriously, EAxis, eleven years and you still haven’t found a solution to that bug????

I tried removing the fence, but that didn’t seem to help so Chance and Nichol had to move to the seedy side of town.

Last week in the Lazlo household, Adaeze passed away. Faith used her mom's death as an opportunity to move in and marry her boyfriend, Mason Russell. Faith and Mason quickly wed, and Faith painted his portrait. Mason's portrait is now my favorite portrait in the family. I wish the others were as clear.

Last week, Adaeze Min-Lazlo reached the age of 200 and the death watch began.

Adaeze senses she is near the end, so she spends the week painting portraits of her grandchildren. She captures Guardian reading a book...

Last week (ok, it was really two weeks ago. I've been on vacation. Sue me.) our Generation 3 heir, Guardian Lazlo, aged up to toddler.

Week 12 in the Lazlo household begins with Adaeze completing portraits of her daughters. First, she completes a portrait of her daughter, Faith.

You'll notice that this Chapter is called 2.1. That's because Fortune ages to Young Adult during this round, thereby accepting the reins for the second generation of Lazlos.

But first, in advance of Fortune's birthday, Adaeze takes matters into her own hands and seeks out a mate for him at one of the community pools.

Week 10 in the Lazlo Household starts very early Monday. In fact, Adaeze and her children are all having a midnight snack.

I have to say I <3 this game. Something happened this week that totally had me laughing out loud. I don't know if it was a fluke or intentionally programmed, but it was awesome. Unfortunately, you're going to have to wait until the end of this post to find out what it was!

We start the week with Justice heading off to his new job as an Astronaut. Yes, he reached the top of the Military career. So, I had a total RTFM moment here. I was all excited about Justice only working one day a week.  That meant he had six full days to skill, skill, skill. Anyway, he left the house at 6 am, but didn't show up at 1PM. I got a little nervous and was wondering what was going on, especially since his needs were dropping. I had recently installed Ambitions so I thought it was a glitch. I looked back at his career panel and noticed his hours were 7AM - 1AM. *Doh!* 1 AM, not 1 PM. *slaps forehead* So, while it's nice that Astronauts only work one day a week, that one day is an eighteen hour shift!

The Lazlo Legacy 1.8

It is week eight in the Lazlo household, and they finally have walls.  I was trying to be conservative with the family funds because Adaeze has the Swimming in Cash lifetime wish. After relentless teasing by my husband about my Sims living on the lawn, I caved and started building their house.

On the left, we have the master bedroom and master bath. Next door is the kitchen. Near the front of the house is the dining room. The big open area in the center is the living room. On the right are the kids' bedrooms. Faith's room is towards the front of the house, while Fortune and Chance's room is towards the back.

My favorite feature of the house is the kids' bathroom suite. Faith has her own half-bath and walk-in closet while the boys share another half-bath and walk-in closet. The two half-baths are connected by a shower/tub that the three share.

Last week ended with a birthday, and this week starts with a birthday. Justice Lazlo is aging to adult!

The Lazlo Legacy 1.6

It is now Week Six in the Lazlo household, and I am regretting choosing the Long lifespan. I honestly thought I needed it to have any hope of completing the LTWs, but the pre-Young Adults years of the Lazlo children are taking forever.I know the rules say you can't change the lifespan once you start, and I really don't want to restart the challenge, so I'm going to persist. [Edited 12/29/2011: Null and void now that I am no longer following the rules.]
Ok, now that my whining is out of the way, let's get on with it....

I snapped this pic because I absolutely heart Justice in this uniform. I can't remember if this is the uniform for Fighter Pilot or Squadron Leader. Incidentally, my blogging is way behind my playing. This is week six, but I'm currently playing week nine.

There aren't many pictures from Week 4 in the Lazlo house, because Justice concentrated on helping Faith, Fortune, and Chance learn their toddler skills.

Justice did manage to break his 150th board to fulfill the Board Breaker skill challenge. Now, he just needs to meditate for 150 hours and participate in 75 sparring matches to have completely mastered the Martial Arts skill.
